Description: Valentine's themed lectures on "Broken Heart" Syndrome and the beneficial effects of chocolate on heart health. Free wine and chocolates allocated on arrival!
Dr Alexander Lyon will talk about Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy a.k.a "Broken Heart Syndrome". Dr Samantha Warnakula will talk about her research into the benefits of chocolate on cardiometabolic disorders. There will also be a chance to view anatomical specimens not yet open to the public.
