June - 50 Years of Pathology
On 21st June we celebrate the 50th Anniversary of The Royal College of Pathologists; marking 50 years since a very special meeting, at 3pm on 21st June 1962, at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, where it was unanimously agreed that a College of Pathologists be founded.
To celebrate we will be looking back over the past 50 years, highlighting the contributions of pathologists, scientists and staff to advances in pathology in the UK and abroad. We'll also be looking forward to the next 50 years. Why not organise an event focusing on how pathology has changed over the past 50 years or how recent advances have changed the way you work?
