March - Mothers and Babies
March's theme highlights the role of all the pathology specialties in keeping mothers and babies healthy, but also includes other issues relating to women's health and genetics.
In 2012 Mothering Sunday falls on 18th March. Pathology plays an important role in ensuring that mothers-to-be remain healthy. Why not organise an event highlighting the tests offered to pregnant women and new born babies? You could also focus on genetics, IVF and the creation of 'Saviour Siblings'.
